Каждое пользовательское устройство имеет свой IP-адрес, как и прокси.
Как работает прокси:
- пользователь со своего IP посылает запрос, что ему нужно попасть на какой-либо ресурс;
- запрос попадает на прокси-сервер;
- тот со своим IP передает запрос серверу-клиенту.
Схема работы прокси
В зависимости от анонимности сервер сайта может узнать, что пользователь использует прокси и его настоящий адрес, либо не узнать.

Для proxies есть 3 способа аутентификации:

- Использование GSS-API для аутентификации. Сервер и клиент применяют аутентификацию, которая работает на уровне операционной системы.
Виды proxy различаются по размещению, уровню анонимности, протоколу, другим критериям. Мы будем говорить о Socks-proxy, который расшифровывается как Socket Secure. При использовании протокола Socks данные проходят через брандмауэр. Передача трафика между серверами в результате ускоряется.
